INS management in cases

Nexus is able to manage the INS within a case. INS are a patient identifier used in France.

It is possible to create via the Nexus API a case containing a qualified identity with the following patient informations:

• INS registration number + OID (NIR ou NIA)

• Birthname

• Firstname

• Birthdate

• Sex

• French INSEE code (place of birth)

• List of all the firstnames

When the case is created with an unqualified identity, it is possible to update it with a qualified identity when it is available. This update is performed via the call to the Nexus API and takes the form of a new patient identity update step added in the case.
