Multiple contextual identities on a case
This new version of Nexus introduces a major change in patient identity management within case, based on the principle of contextual identity. This mechanism takes into account the reality of care pathways, where the same patient can be identified differently depending on the institution. For example, a patient may have a local identity specific to the requesting institution, and, sometimes, a regional or national identity. When an electronic record is shared between several institutions, the patient may be identified differently in each of them.
It is now possible to associate multiple contextual identities with a case, allowing for more flexible management that reflects the complexity of inter-institutional exchanges. This functionality is currently accessible exclusively via REST API integration.
Staging data table
A dedicated table has been added to the database to facilitate access to information related to cases by third-party tools. Designed to enable real-time or near-real-time streaming, this table exposes the essential data needed to populate dashboards, customized statistical analyses, or monitoring indicators.
This development aims to simplify integration with external analytics solutions and improve visibility into key system data.
Remote Authentication
This release introduces support for Remote Authentication via a REST API call, enabling closer integration with third-party systems. This development allows external applications to securely initiate a user session without going through the traditional login interface.
This feature paves the way for seamless, unified user journeys across different business tools, while ensuring a high level of security and traceability. It represents a step forward in the implementation of interoperable solutions focused on the user experience.
