Studies

Nexus allows to manage DICOM studies (sending, receiving, viewer launching, …).

The Studies page lists the studies stored on Nexus. From this page, you can view studies, create cases for telexpertise requests, transfer studies received from outside to your local infrastructure (with or without a reconciliation phase).

Studies that you are allowed to access, whether they were produced internally or received/added from outside cases, are all listed on this page.

To help distinguish them from one another, outside studies are symbolized by the “E” icon. To display this icon, you must display the Outside study column.

Preview

On the studies list right side, a pannel allows to preview the selected study. The preview allows you to display detailed information about the patient as well as general information relating to the study.

The preview can be displayed/hidden by clicking on < or >.

Columns

You can reorganize columns and select the ones you want to display according to your needs:

  • To move a column, point on its title and hold the mouse button down while moving the column to the location you want.

  • By default, all the columns are displayed. If you want to hide some of them, click on the Configure button, then on Configure columns.

Filters

You can add filters to those provided by default by clicking on the Configure button and then on Configure filters.

The Find filter allows you to search all columns at once (including hidden ones).

When you enter a value in a free-text filter (such as Patient’s name, Identifier), click on the Refresh button ou press the ENTER key to start the search. When you fill in list filters (such as Updated, Gender), the search starts automatically. Likewise, the page is automatically refreshed when you remove a filter.

Can’t find a study? Make sure that the content of the filters does not prevent you from showing it.
